Compaction Grouting

Compaction Grouting is a technique of injecting a stiff cementitious grout through injection pipes into soil. The stiff consistency of the grout creates friction, which allows the grout material to bulb into the soil creating densification and consolidation of the soil. This procedure, however, is sometimes limited due to structural elements. Compaction grouting is most often used during pre-construction stages in order to increase the load bearing capacity of the soil.
